Universities double investment in diversity staff over three years

A TaxPayers' Alliance investigation has revealed that 164 UK universities spent £42,410,688.46 on EDI roles in 2021-24.
Speaking to the Times, which published these findings, our investigations campaign manager, Joanna Marchong said:
“Taxpayers are starting to see just how deeply the public sector is plagued by costly EDI roles.
"These positions are draining millions from hardworking Brits despite clear evidence of their ineffectiveness, and their numbers keep growing.
"Public bodies must get their priorities straight and stop wasting money on expensive, pointless non-jobs."
